i love finding vintage containers + boxes for storing craft + office supplies.
almost everything in my office has had a former life or is a new to me box-drawer-or basket.
old Scotch Brand Tape store display basket
medical tape dispenser from a hospital. a classic storage solution. i mean you would call a medical tape dispenser 'classic' right?
keep your eyes peeled for old metal tins, wooden boxes, unusual wire "thingies" that can be turned into handles + hangers. vintage baking tins and industrial kitchen items. glass jars. sometimes just picking up an item you find yourself attracted to at the thrift store and turning it over in your hands a few times, will get the storage possibilities stirring.
i'll take a well worn patina over plastic or acrylic any day--and you, what is your preference?
